Ready for Concrete!
Hey Y'all,
Shayne was in a wedding this past weekend so we took full advantage of being in the area and went by the house! It looks like they are ready for concrete! Like so many have said, it looks so small but I expect that once it is framed it will seem bigger, hopefully haha. Our PM emailed us and said that they would be pouring this week and awaiting lumber delivery for Friday! Here are some pictures of the house and us at the wedding, oh and a quick tip!
* If you haven't reached the deadline for making changes, consider making your driveway a little wider than the garage. We wanted ours to go an extra 2 feet to the end of the house because it doesn't appear from finished houses in our neighborhood that Shayne and I will be able to both park side by side in the driveway as they aren't very wide. Our PM did say he has a guy he will refer us to in order to extend it once we close if we still wish since we had passed our date to make changes. I have seen some people use pavers to keep tires off the grass instead of pouring extra concrete though.
Have courage and always be kind,
Mary-Louise and Shayne
